The American Diabetes Association (ADA)
The American Diabetes Association is leading the fight to stop diabetes and its deadly consequences and fighting for those affected by diabetes. The Association funds research to prevent, cure and manage diabetes; delivers services to hundreds of communities; gives a voice to those denied their rights because of diabetes and is the leading authority of diabetes information. Founded in 1940, the mission of the Association is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
BrightSky is proud to be a National Strategic Partner of the Association and a founding sponsor of their Living with Type 2 Diabetes program. This free, 12–month program offers patients the information and support they need to start their journey with diabetes and manage it throughout their lifetime. Enrollees receive information, healthy recipes, tools and resources at timely intervals throughout the year and will also have opportunities to find personal support in their local communities or online. Also included in the National Strategic Partnership is a series of free educational workshops in communities across the country which features the nationwide launch of BrightSky's popular Diabetes Bingo program, a free, fun and educational game for individuals living with diabetes.
We are working together to empower, educate and motivate people to Stop Diabetes® and provide the tools to better manage it.
